For the 2017 edition of the Summerschool at Laus Polyphoniae, Stratton Bull, Pieter Stas and Andrew Hallock of the ensemble Cappella Pratensis will lead a week-long course on 15th-century polyphony from Cambrai. As ever they will work directly from facsimiles of the sources, singing from mensural notation in choirbooks. Again this year guest teachers Valerie Horst and Niels Berentsen will lead special sessions on notation and improvisation.
The course will be split in two groups: preprofessionals and advanced amateurs.
*Deadline: 1 April 2017
*Selection: end of April 2017
