Albert R. Rice, author of “The Baroque Clarinet”, ‘The Clarinet in the Classical Period’, and “From the Clarinet d’Amour to the Contra Bass” comes on invitation of Terra Nova and Vlad Weverbergh to Antwerp to visit the collection of the Museum Vleeshuis.
Albert R. Rice will give a conference on the basset clarinet on the subject : ‘makers, designs, patents and extant instruments’
The ensemble Terra Nova will play one of the Trio’s opus 1 written by Henri Tobi, which they recently recorded, and Vlad Weverbergh will perform the second movement of the clarinet quintet KV581 by Mozart on basset clarinet.
