In de nieuwsbrief van de Alamire Foundation over het ‘Leuven Chansonnier’ lees ik bij toeval de naam van het ensemble ‘Les Délices’. Het is nog maar een maand of wat geleden, dat ik voor het eerst kennismaakte met deze groep. Op de radio hoorde ik het nummer ‘Tomorrow is my turn’ van Nina Simone in de versie van Charles Aznavour. Ik ging op zoek naar het origineel en kwam uit op een ontroerende bewerking van ‘Les Délices’ voor hobo, strijkers en basso continuo : ik wil dit elke dag horen op Klara ! Bart Stouten, hoor je mij ?

In the newsletter of the Alamire Foundation about the ‘Leuven Chansonnier’ I accidentally read the name of the ensemble ‘Les Délices’. It was only a month or so ago that I first met this group. On the radio I heard the song ‘Tomorrow is my turn’ by Nina Simone in the version of Charles Aznavour. I went looking for the original and came to a moving adaptation of ‘Les Délices’ for oboe, strings and basso continuo: I want to hear this every day on Klara! Bart Stouten, do you hear me?
