The ‘Magic Flute’- project is a result of my flute quartet research project. I discovered a beautiful recording with Konrad Hünteler of the arrangement by Ehrenfried, and after a while also the score and parts in a Walhall edition (EW 828).
A first trial to bring the music to children was last year, in the classroom of my youngest son. This year I got the opportunity to do some workshops in the Ka’do, primary school in Antwerp.
Meanwhile I start with the quartet rehearsals for a series of performance concerts for elderly people in their surrounding of their home. This concerts will be supported by the district of Borgerhout.
